PLAY

What a great idea!

Check out this rec league playing Arena Football inside a gym http://www.myspace.com/afl2006.

What other Arena Football leagues play in gyms? What other sports are being played indoors?

TRAIN

The New York Sports Club http://www.mysportsclubs.com/regions/NYSC.htm is among the most popular in the big city with over 100 locations in the tri-state area.

It's recently branched out to Boston, Philadelphia and Washington too. What's your take on NYSC? What are the popular gyms in the southeast, midwest, southwest and Pacific northwest?

WATCH

It's a big night in Philly as Invincible opens and the Eagles host the Super Bowl champion Steelers on ESPN at 8 p.m. The 'MNF' crew does a special Friday edition. Analyst Tony Kornheiser has gotten a lot of criticism and advice during his short stint, even from his own home paper, the Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2006/08/18/DI2006081800710.html). What's your take on the witty scribe?

ATTEND

THE game to attend tonight is Twins-Chi Sox. Major Wild Card implications on the line.

For those of you lucky enough to have a ticket, here's some info http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/cws/ballpark/index.jsp. Radke's been on fire and we like the Twinkies in tonight's game.

But let's cut to a core issue right away. Which is the better ballpark, U.S. Celluar or Wrigley, and, of course, why?

MISC.

The movie "Invincible" opens today. Approximately 50 Arena Football players http://www.arenafootball.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=3500&ATCLID=560217&SPID=1563 took part in the making of the movie, which is based on the NFL career of Vince Papale of the Philadelphia Eagles (1976-78) and stars Mark Wahlberg (as Papale) and Greg Kinnear (as Dick Vermeil).

What other actors could have played Papale and Vermeil? We say Vince Vaughn and Meryl Streep (for her crying ability). Who do you say?
